I recently purchased a lipstick base (Caudalie lip conditioner) and it worked wonders... I love the lip pencil now!! I feel like it stays on a lot longer without drying out my lips. I wear it everyday and always get compliments.

    "Love, love this product. For a crayon is not drying. I like a very matte finish. After applying I just add a little gloss. This product glides on like velvet. I also love the color range.
